Terms of Service

Last updated 4 October 2026

These are the rules for using Mero Page. Please read them: using the Service means you accept them.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Mero Page (the “Service”) you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you use it for a business or an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

2. What the Service is

Mero Page lets you make and publish a profile page, websites, résumés, presentations, QR codes, an online store and a news site, keep notes and files, connect a Facebook Page to publish posts to it, and use free online tools. We keep improving it, so features may change, move or end.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the age at which you can make a binding contract where you live, if that is higher.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us at once if you think it was used without you.
  • One person, one account. Do not make accounts for others without their permission.

4. Your content

What you create, upload and publish in the Service is yours. You give us permission to store it, process it, and display it as you set it up — for example, to serve your public page to visitors — and only so we can run the Service for you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies others have already made of what you published.

You are responsible for your content. You promise you have the right to use it, and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights. Anything you publish is public to anyone with its address.

5. What you must not do

Do not use the Service to:

  • break any law, or help someone else to;
  • publish content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative or that infringes someone’s intellectual property or privacy;
  • send spam, run scams or phishing, or pretend to be another person or business;
  • spread malware, or probe, attack or overload the Service, our servers or anyone else’s — including by using the free network tools (lookups, ping) against systems you do not own or have no permission to test;
  • collect other people’s data without their agreement, or scrape the Service in bulk;
  • get around limits, security or access controls; or
  • sell, resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

6. Stores and news sites

If you run an online store or a news site on the Service, you are the seller or the publisher. You alone are responsible for what you sell or publish, for your prices, descriptions, delivery and refunds, for the law that applies to you, and for looking after your customers’ and readers’ data.

A sale is between you and your customer; we are not a party to it. The Service records orders for you but does not take payment on your behalf: how a customer pays you is for the two of you to agree.

7. AI features

The Service has features that use AI to draft or edit content. What they produce can be wrong, out of date, or similar to something else. Read and check it before you use or publish it; you are responsible for what you publish. What you submit to those features is sent to an AI provider, as our Privacy Policy explains.

8. Connecting Facebook and other networks

If you connect a Facebook Page, you confirm that you are allowed to manage it and to post on its behalf. We publish to it only what you write and submit, when you submit it. You are responsible for those posts, and for following Facebook’s and Meta’s terms, policies and community standards.

The connection depends on Meta. If Meta changes its rules, limits or permissions, or ends your access, the connection may stop working, and we are not responsible for that or for what Meta does with your account. You can disconnect at any time from the Social page; see our Privacy Policy for how your Facebook data is deleted.

9. Other people’s services

The Service works with services that are not ours, such as Google sign-in, Facebook and our hosting and AI providers. They are run by others on their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Free tools

The free tools are provided to be useful, with no promise that their results are complete, accurate or right for your purpose. Check anything important before you rely on it.

11. Our rights

The Service itself — its software, design, name and logo — belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms give you the right to use it, not to own, copy or build on it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Suspending and ending

You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we have to stop the Service; where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you the chance to take your content with you.

13. No guarantees

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and your content safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or free of loss. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

14. Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or lost business arising from your use of the Service, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before it arose (or nothing, if you paid nothing).

You agree to cover us against claims by others that come from your content, your store or site, or your breaking these terms. Nothing here limits any responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top and, if the change matters, tell you in the Service or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.

17. Contact

Questions about these terms: use the contact form. We read every message and reply by email.
